When fishing off the beaten path, you can generally expect constant action. Not so with this river, my experience has been tough. But keep at it, and don’t be hesitant to change up tactics.

1st place winner was Gary Nelson of Wellington NV with a 4lb 5oz 23 1/2” caught off of shore.

I landed (and released) a nice 4lb+ rainbow trolling a broken back Rapala at Topaz Lake on February 22nd. Caught 6 fish overall.
